Jologs na kung jologs. I have only read three of his books. Kasi malaking tulong ang telebisyon para lumimot. The author being known to deviate from the usual storytelling, I find this book so amusing and so unique.

It is a commentary about how the Philippine media is on a steep decline which, as the books points out, not only is being caused by the media companies but also us, who watch, reads and allows it to be that way and how we are also to be blamed for the it’s downfall.

Oo nga naman, nuod ako nang nuod ng mga teleserye at pelikula pero kung minsan wala naman talaga akong napapala. Ang mga gulat factor at walang kwentong mga horror films natin.
There were some funny parts, yes, but it wasn’t the old funny thing that Bob Ong used to write. Now I proud to say: His real identity is not known although I think that he is about my age: At happy ever after sila. His works are all blockbusters here in the Philippines. What I am trying to say I guess is that even if he has lots of detractors, because what he is writing is far from what you can call as high-brow literature, I believe on what he is doing. Unti-unting nahuhulog sa lupa ang mga dahon sa sanga ng puno ng bayabas.
